HeartMath testing

This is a device which measures ones’ brain-heart coherence, autonomic balance, and heart rate variability.

Brain-Heart Coherence: Brain-heart coherence refers to a state where the brain and the heart are in sync and working together harmoniously. This state can be achieved through practices like meditation or mindfulness. When someone experiences brain-heart coherence, it can have several positive effects on their body and mind. These benefits include improved emotional regulation, increased mental clarity and focus, reduced stress, and better overall well-being. Brain-heart coherence has been associated with various health benefits, such as improved cardiovascular health, lower blood pressure, better sleep quality, and reduced risk of stress-related diseases.

Measuring Autonomic Balance: Autonomic balance refers to the balance between two parts of our nervous system that control different functions in our body, our “fight or flight” system, also known as our sympathetic system and our “rest and digest” system, also known as our parasympathetic system.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV): HRV measures the variations in time intervals between our heartbeats. It gives us insight into how well our body can adapt and respond to different situations. Higher HRV is generally associated with better overall health and resilience, while lower HRV may indicate stress, fatigue, or potential health issues.
